After family's accident a dog who got tossed out of the car and survived lives by side of the road on its own during the day and at night collects various items that belonged to its family and sleeps there.  A lady who takes the dog in investigates and finds out what had occured and realizes it's not a typical stray dog.  She also finds out the owners are still alive and dog gets a reunion.
